A Seniors’ Week event
Friday, June 6 from 6– 8:30 p.m.
A workable community policing strategy, an effective emergency services response, accessible and safe public spaces and safe sidewalks are just some of the elements that are necessary to a well managed, orderly and safe community.
The Century House T4C group is organizing a Safe City for Seniors Town Hall to be held during this June’s Seniors Week. Guest speakers, at the time of writing, will include the NWPD’s Chief Constable, Paul Hyland and Fire Chief Erin Williams, with more to come. They will speak to how they include seniors in their operational planning and if there are gaps how they plan to fill them. There will also be a moderated Question and Answer session.
The Time 4 Change group is a partnership between Century House and the City and its focus is on seniors and advocacy. Our last event was sold out so register early (May 1 or later) at the Front Desk or by calling 604-519-1066. It’s free … program 231196
